"Cowgirl to Showgirls, Just Like That" produced by Dondino Productions in association with Read To Me Foundation (501(c)(3).

Our documentary is a beautiful Las Vegas documentary inspired by the life of Cindy Doumani, a former performer as a Showgirl and dancer at the Thunderbird Hotel with Dale Robertson and June Havoc (Gypsy Rose Lee's sister), as well as her own show in Japan and Hawaii.

Cindy is a long time Vegas resident, philanthropist, businesswoman and  one of the former owners in the once famed Tropicana Hotel and Casino, El Morocco and LaConcha Motel on the Las Vegas Strip.  

She is and continues to be part of what has made Las Vegas the entertainment capital of the world.  As one of the past owners of the fabulous Tropicana Hotel,  El Morocco and La Concha Motels, she understands what it takes to make a property successful. Cindy's continuous support to the city's cultural events, projects and special needs has become part of her legacy and contributions to Las Vegas.

This documentary is about some of the most amazing and multi-talented people, producers, directors, dancers, showgirls, cast members, entertainers, costume designers, and more, who shared their endless creativity that made the magical showgirl extravaganza performances legendary and Las Vegas unforgettable.

Cindy's vision incorporates and honors these memorable show business people who made the magic of Las Vegas last for all these decades and how they continue to share their incredible talents with their community and through their projects.  It's a beautiful story, full of experiences, laughter and how it all came together.

We are anticipating the completion and the Premiere for "Cowgirl to Showgirl, Just Like That"  2016.  It has been a long project, but will be well worth the time and expense we have spent filming and editing to create a beautiful and informative story of the forever Las Vegas Icon "The Showgirl".
